This weeks focus is on one of our favorite brands at Owl, Heimat. The word itself roughly translates to ‘homeland’, with which they are attempting to trigger a sense of comfort and belonging with their garments. Que a host of industrial, and geological names which are reminiscent of a place, action or feeling.

Following in the footsteps of the well know German manufacturing, Heimat prides itself on producing some of the finest garments we’ve ever seen. They believe in keeping things simple and nailing the fundamentals with every element of the garment having a precise focus. The fit is also a very personal thing as the garment softens to your body shape within a few wears.

Heimat also believe in producing timeless and durable fashion which increases the lifecycle of a garment. This is wear we think Heimat really shines, without a pill or rip in sight and natural oils which help self-clean the wool, year on year these products hold up unlike any other knitwear on the market.
